Replacing my old generic compensator with a Strike Industries J-Comp V2. That's right, i'm putting something brand name on my AR J-comp V2: http://www.opticsplanet. The SI JCOMP 2.0 is the classic Type 89 compensator re-engineered and updated for the 21st century. Due to end user feedback, the favorite features of the original are retained, but the J Comp now features increased muzzle rise compensation, and is available in 7.62x39mm and.308/7.62x51mm in addition to 5.56x45/.223. Strike Industries is offering a pre-order for their new J-COMP muzzle device. The J-COMP is actually a pretty sweet looking design that was fashioned after the comp found on the famous Howa Type 89 Japanese fighting rifle. A few weeks ago I got a care package in the mail from Strike Industries. They had a bunch of fun stuff in there. There were a number of dust covers, a magazine pull/extender, a weird little key chain tool, a charging handle and their new Cookie Cutter muzzle brake. The Strike Industries J Compensator (Japan Type 89) is a very high quality product, as Strike Industries as a great reputation for. I installed this in My Colt M4, after ordering a crush washer for installation.
